This August, Joshua Daniel Ssenyonga, the son of Pastor Ssenyonga of Christian Life Church – Bwaise, tied the knot with Joanne Rhona Luwagga, the daughter of Pastor Godfrey and Sylvia Luwagga of City Lord’s Church last weekend at Christian Life Church. Surely, nothing can stand in the way of love. Not even this COVID19 pandemic.
The pair, who met at a party in the USA decided to wed over the weekend in one of the most stylish wedding formats money can buy.
Joshua Ssenyonga and Joanne’s glamorous wedding was graced by the Queen herself, Queen Slyvia Nagginda along with Princess Katrina Ssangalyambogo of Buganda kingdom.
Others at the wedding included Dr. Bishop Joshua Lwere, the senior pastor of Grace Assembly Church, Kampala and Overseer of the National Fellowship of Born-Again Pentecostal Churches, Dr. Joseph Serwadda, the presiding Apostle of the Born Again Faith, Bishop David Livingstone Kiganda, the founder of Christianity Focus Ministries, Apostle John Bunjo, the Director of Christian Restoration Ministries International, and others.
The officiant was Pastor Peter Derek flown in straight from Ohio, USA.
The impeccable church decor was done by Icandy and Adam Jjuko while the heart-throbbing reception decor at The Kampala Serena hotel was done by Steph and Steph Bridal company and Fenon events.
The beautiful bride wore a custom-made Victorian style ball gown from Swaronski before changing into a glimmering gown from Zuhair Murad.
The handsome groom was dressed in a custom-made Canali suit complete with Louis Vuitton shoes and a Tom Ford belt.
Joshua could hardly hold his tears as he watched the love of his life walk down the aisle with support from her parents to Ruelle’s “I get to love you” performed by Kamanzi Rwengo and the wonderful melodic voices of the Christian Life Church’s choir.
They danced the night away in utter bliss surrounded by family and friends, some who flew in from the US for the event, royalty, and beautiful decor.
