That means that on any particular wedding weekend, they will host only 2 outdoor weddings. And it is only the coliseum that is mostly used by couples because the pool garden only hosts a maximum of 300 guests. This is not the case with other venues like Speke resort where it isn’t rare to see over 5 different couples. That aside, the two outdoor venues are very far from each other.

Serena Kigo has only three wedding venues;
- Coliseum Gardens: Serena resort’s coliseum garden imitates the majestic Roman-style Coliseum. This garden hosts a maximum of 1000 guests but can host even more depending on your concept. The Coliseum is most people’s first choice and the main reason many hosts their weddings at Serena. It comes at the cost of UGX5,000,000 (Five million Ugandan shillings).
- Pool Gardens: The second outdoor venue option offered by Serena kigo is the Pool garden. This is adjacent to the main hotel structure that hosts the hotel reception, spa, gym, and other amenities. The Pool garden is hired at the cost of UGX3,500,000 and sits a maximum of 300 guests.
- Kalangala hall: The last and final wedding venue Serena offers is the Kalangala hall. This seats a maximum of 180 people and comes at the cost of UGX3,000,000. This is the only indoor wedding venue Serena kigo has to offer.
